Side Guide
Your guest guide, already waiting in the property.
Digital made guides easier to maintain, and easier for guests to never open.
Side Guide is part of Toolbox, JottoGo’s six-tool pack for running the property.
Seven documents. Print the ones you need.
Each one turns on and off per property, and each goes where it does its job.
House Guide
How the property works, with Wi-Fi and your guidebook as codes.
BBQ
The barbecue instructions, on their own page so you can laminate them.
Check out list
Your check-out time, your steps, your sign-off.
Local Guide
Your own recommendations, two per category.
Extras
What guests can request or buy, with your prices.
Reviews
A quiet review ask, with a code to your Google listing.
Keep in touch
Your email signup first, with optional social accounts below.
Built once, printed whenever you need it
Start from a first draft
Side Guide opens with the sections most homes need, so you are editing rather than staring at an empty page.
Add your places
Search for a venue and its address and phone fill themselves in. Choose your two favorites per category to print, and change them whenever your local picks change.
Make it look like yours
Choose A4, A5, or US Letter, and a print style to match the home. Your branding carries across every document, the same as your Guest Jotto.
Print it the way your property needs it
Put the House Guide in a folder, laminate the BBQ page, leave the Check out list where guests will see it. Seven separate documents, so you are not stuck with one format.
Edit it like a document. Leave it out like a magazine.
Built for the property, not the booking
Set up once. No reservations or booking software required.
Side Guide is anchored to your physical home, not your guest list. House instructions, local recommendations, extras and check-out notes stay ready in the property whether you host two bookings a year or two hundred. You do not need a booking platform or calendar link to start printing.
Your crew keeps their own sheet
Crew To Do is the prep checklist your cleaners work from, printed fresh for every booking. Side Guide is for guests and changes only when you change it. They do not get in each other’s way.
Part of Toolbox
Side Guide is included in Toolbox, alongside ShoppoGo, Crew To Do, Crew IOU, BookoGo and Snag Flag. Start with your guide and use the other tools whenever they become useful.
ShoppoGo
Your crew flags what is running low, and the next shopping list takes shape. A pantry can supply several properties.
Crew To Do
A turnover checklist for your cleaner for every arrival. Connect a booking platform or a property calendar link. Also included in the Arrivals Pack.
Crew IOU
The simplest way for a cleaner to produce a proper invoice for their work.
BookoGo
Host and guest invoices that look good. Rarely needed, but when they are needed they have to look right.
Snag Flag
Someone spots a snag at the property and flags it. It stays tracked until it is resolved.
The tools are opening in stages. You can use whichever ones are ready without buying them separately, and the rest arrive as they land. We will ask before any billing begins. No card required to try it.
Free for everyone through 31 October 2026, then:
$1.50 per booking, capped at $7.50 per property each month.
Frequently asked questions
What Side Guide prints, and how it reaches your guests.
Seven documents, and you turn on the ones you want per property:
- House Guide: how the home works, from getting started to house rules, with Wi-Fi and your guidebook link printed as codes.
- BBQ: a standalone card to laminate and leave by the barbecue.
- Check out list: what you would like done before guests leave.
- Local Guide: your own recommendations, two per category.
- Extras: what you offer on site, with your prices and a booking code.
- Reviews: the review ask, with a code that opens your Google listing.
- Keep in touch: an optional email-list invitation, with social account codes below it.
A Guest Jotto is the personalized welcome letter waiting for a specific booking. It greets your guests by name and changes with every stay.
Side Guide does not change per booking. It is the reference that stays in the home, answering the questions that come up after the welcome.
You can use either or both, because they do different jobs.
Side Guide is part of Toolbox, JottoGo’s six-tool pack for running the property.
Toolbox is free for everyone through 31 October 2026, so you can build your guide and print it without adding a payment method.
Paid Toolbox requires your explicit activation after early access. It is priced as one pack, per booking, with a monthly cap on every property, not a charge per print. See the pricing page for the current rates in your currency.
Only when you change it. Side Guide is not generated per booking, so a printed booklet stays accurate until your information or your recommendations move on.
Most hosts reprint when a favorite cafe closes or they add an appliance, not every week.
No. Search for a venue by name and its address and phone number are filled in for you.
You choose which places appear, what order they are in, and what you say about them. The words stay yours.
Keep it. Side Guide does not replace it, and the House Guide prints a code that points guests straight to it.
The difference is reach. A digital guidebook is somewhere a guest has to decide to go, so it tends to be opened by the guests who already have a question, and often not at all. A printed guide is in the room. It gets picked up and leafed through.
That is also how guests find things they did not know to ask about, including the extras you offer.
No. Side Guide is not part of the per-booking Arrivals Pack your crew collects, and it does not appear on their Crew To Do sheet.
It is reprinted only when something changes or a page needs replacing, not every stay.
No. Side Guide is built for the property, not the reservation.
You can add your property manually in thirty seconds and design, edit, and print your guide without connecting a PMS or calendar feed.
Every rental used to have a guide on the shelf.
Put one back. House information, local picks, your extras, and the review ask, in your branding, waiting where your guests already are.
